Waffle weave is the sweet spot for a throw: more breathable than fleece so it doesn't turn into a sauna, heavier and more substantial than a knit that snags on everything. The fringe is hand-tied, not glued or sewn flat.
At 50 by 60 inches they're actually big enough for an adult nap — the size most "throws" quietly aren't. Machine washable, and they compress down small enough for a shelf or an ottoman basket.
